- Computed with the old Surya Siddhanta arithmetic that traditional Bengali almanacs still use: sidereal positions, sankranti-based months of 29 to 32 days, and tithi measured from the almanac sunrise.
- The Bangla Academy calendar used for official dates in Bangladesh fixes month lengths by rule, so its date and the traditional date differ by a day or two through the year.
