Which English year is which Bengali year
Subtract 593 from the English year for dates from 14 April onward, or 594 before it. So 2031 is 1438 from 14 April, and 2032 is 1438 until 13 April, then 1439. For a date on a land deed or an old document, use the date converter; dates before 1394 were kept under the earlier almanac and can differ by one to three days.
